pick a clove from the bunch, peel it, and crunch

with or without a chaser to balance the burn

were talking the clove and you and nothing in between...

All the time! I remember reading that uncooked garlic was good for lowering cholesterol or something like that, and not thinking that the health food stores would carry garlic caps, I ate raw garlic for a while. Even after I discovered it in the stores, I ate it raw because it was sooooo good!

I like garlic raw. Sometimes I crave it. When I have a cold, I eat a couple of garlic cloves when the symptons set it.

I don't find it to be too "hot."

basically on a daily basis. peal the clove and chase it with sips of wine. not to mention mixing it with blueberries after a sip of wine. unfortunately cannot do it without a chaser, be it wine, water, tea.

garlic cloves are yummy raw and yes the pickled ones with jalapeno's are quite good too. i was doing a cleanse recently and had to make concoction of 7 garlic cloves, lemon juice, ginger root and olive oil, then you blend it all up in the blender . . . oh my . . . nice burps.

Garlic Rules! Medical studies have shown that garlic can lower cholesterol, prevent dangerous blood clots, reduce blood pressure, prevent cancer, and protect against bacterial and fungal infections.

I actually prefer eating raw rather than roasting it... I find the texture is difficult for me if it is roasted.

    mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm garlic

Everytime I go home I stop off at Johnny Garlics to get food for the trip home (I bet every one on the plane loves me!); recently when I went home I stoped by JG and found that ALL but one have closed down :( :(. I am distraught and sad... I guess the owners opened a new place in the Sacramento area called Tex Wasabi's

I usually don't indulge, but when you're eating donkey in Beijing and the chef offers you raw garlic and chilis on the side...

On a trip to Mexico several years ago, my travelling companions suggested multiple garlic oil caps every day would help lower the probablility of getting traveller's trots. I took the biggest ones I could find, three at a time, three times a day. Took a few risks with ice and lettuce, and sailed through without a problem.

I don't think the mosquitos liked me much either...

It's one of the many things that's rumored to help. If it's a cold or flu, I go for black elderberry extract. Tastes awful, but not as bad as grapefruit seed extract. It really does seem to make the cold/flu go away much more quickly.

No bad feelings towards garlic meant at all, of course. :-)
