Mmm... garlic for lunch! I can't leave work for lunch most days, including today. I brought my own garlic lunch. I made some *barbecue* beans with my own home-made barbecue sauce that features chipotles and garlic. I'll be breathing garlic on everybody the rest of the day, unless of course I chow down on the Listerine Pocket packs.

So what do you think? This is my scenario for the invention of those Listerine things: Some guy spills Listerine on his bathroom counter when he's getting ready for work one morning. He doesn't stop to clean it up (well, neither would I). When he gets home very late that night (it's very late because he is a workaholic and then has to go out clubbing/networking) the Listerine has dried on the bathroom counter. He finds that he can scrape it up in pieces ... and voila! Who says necessity is the mother of invention? Bad housekeeping is!

Don't tell anyone, but i like garlic so much, i'll eat a bunch of fried garlic chips, or even better, i'll roast two heads of garlic and make a rosemary butter shmear with it, and spread it all on one slice of bread -- just to get garlic farts a couple hours later! That way i get to smell the garlic twice!!

Too much garlic?
I've never turned anything away using that as the reason!
My Great Gramma used to can me special garlic dill pickles with exta garlic in every jar every year since I can remember...she passed on Christmas 2003...I've only got a few jars left from last years haul...mmmmmm...I think I want one now!

My wife hates the smell of garlic. I once travelled about 400 miles away, had some great jumbo garlic shimp, called her and she asked, "Did you eat some garlic?" Sheeesh!
